I know a lot of you were interested in playing the Winawer so I made it into a more organized format so it is easier to learn without going through an entire pgn. You can find the study here.

I'm going to look into the theory. I've WANTED to play the alapin, but would need an entire repertoire. It might be worth looking into THIS and playing 3...e5 instead of my usual 3...e6 and getting stuck in another stonewall straightjacket. this opening pushes the e pawn and looks to open the center up a bit. it might be fun, if I can grasp its concepts.

An unintending consequence of the Winawer is that it can be annoying against English players. English players tend to like having slow positional battles that favor them.

I might include the 2.g3 English in the study later but from my experience and the lichess database, you transpose back into familiar territory
