Queens pawn attack system

I have gotten very comfortable with the Richter Keresov Attack  (Diagram 2)  After which I move into a variation of the stone wall system missing only the pawn on  c3 (diagram 1).  This combo rids the  trouble of a blocked  queen side bishop  as characteristic of the  stone wall if set up in the beginning.  I have had descent success so far with this set up.  Any thoughts?

Its definatley a good opening if you want to avoid opening theory. I have not played against it too many times and my guess is that many black players may feel unsettled in this opening if they have never seen it before. On that note i think its a good surprise to have but i wouldnt rely on it. (for example; if you play OTB and people see you playing it they will be prepared for you if they get paired with ya!)

Note: The diagrams keep flipping on me so I can't say which is which on my original post, hopefully you get the idea.

Graw- Yes I know your point I mix it up a lot but the Richter is almost never a mainstay opening anyway it is as you say a surprise opening.

I will study the Colle System (stone wall) and the Queen's Gambit together to get a feel of pawn formations in both opening. These opening are more for positional players than players who love tactical openings.

When I study openings I of course not only want to learn to play them but how to refute them.  While the most common responses to the Veresov are h8, Nd7, Bg4, and e6 I was playing the computer a while back and it repetitively played the interesting (but in my opinion somewhat dubious) Ne4 which I had not seen before.  This move basically disassembles the momentum of the Veresov and leads to a very interesting game.  Thoughts?...

Just looking back at some of my old posts and realized that the position described in the previous box is a mirror image of the bird defense (as the Veresov is a mirror of the Lopez) very interesting to me given the queen's altered position in relation to it all
