3...Qa5 and 3...Qd6 are the only queen moves to take seriously.

Maybe 3...Qd8.
Qd8 was the old move, superseded by Qa5, then it got new life as a sort of hypermodern approach to control the center from afar.
It must have petered out again.
Fischer smashed Robastach when he played 3...Qd8 resulting in a sharp decline in popularity. If there is hope for the Scandinavian, it is with 3...Qd6. Everywhere else the scandinavian is suffering theoretically.
3...Qc6 has a high surprise value.
Indeed. They can talk about it over pizza as they will have plenty of time before the next round.

You jogged my memory with the Robatch referrence so I looked into my copy of My 60 Memorable Games and found that miniature and in the notes was the same notion that Qd8 was a hypermodern approach--championed by Bronstein, Fischer notes.
Those notes are likely what I was thinking of in the first place.
No I definitely think the lesson is this is the worst move in the scandinavian.
I will add to the thread though..
Chess is a board game. Michael jordan was a good baskeball player and the sky is blue.
Qa5 and Qe6 are the best moves. No one's going to play Qc6.
A teacher at school plays that...well, when he's having an off day
oh I almost forgot(and I apologize this is vital inside information)
The nets are a bad basketball team

I can see you've never been to the Suggo School of Sophistry.
(Even now, he lives on in his splendidly obtuse arguments)
The sky is not blue. The sky is the limit as x approaches 0 of the quantity x squared minus 2x over x. Now what does the sky equal?

the square root of zero

The answer is -2.
Here is a very bad move for black playing Scandinavian defence
