Dude got punked right there. I use the Scotch often, but I have no idea what the proper lines are after the queen captures the white knight on d4. I just start playing from there.

I was reviewing a few of my games and noticed this one...
Obviously, Black did not have to make the game ending blunder. Regardless, and this is the point of this post. The puzzle goes to show that development -- in this case, of the black bishop -- is best when it not only opens up options for yourself but hinders the development of your opponent.p.s. click "move list" to see the entire game.
