Sicilian Defense

I need help solidifying my repertoire against the sicilian.  Currently, I start the game with 1.e4 c5 2.Nc3.

Against 2...e6 I respond 3.Nf3

If black plays 3...Nc6, I play 4.Bb5 leading to a Rossolimo.

What should I play against 3...a6?  In the past I played 4.g3.

Against 2...Nc6, I respond 3.Nf3

If black plays 3...e6 or 3...Nf6, I play 4.Bb5 leading to a Rossolimo.

If black plays 3...g6 or 3...d4, I play 4.d4.

What are black's responses to 4.d4 after cxd4 5.Nxd4?

Are there any other transpositions I should be prepared for?

I would appreciate any answers to these questions.

• 1.e4 c5 2.Nc3 e6 3.Nf3 a6 4.g3 is fine - you could also consider 4.d4
• 1.e4 c5 2.Nc3 Nc6 3.Nf3 g6 4.d4 cxd4 5.Nxd4, black will probably play Bg7
• after 1.e4 c5 2.Nc3 Nc6 3.Nf3 d6 4.d4 cxd4 5.Nxd4, you can expect 5...Nf6

Thank you for the reply.  Now in your second variation, is that the accelerated dragon?  If it is, how should white respond as the Maraczy Bind option is not possible?

Yeah, but since then, 8...Na5? isn't played anymore... d6 and a5 are normal moves.
