The best source is probably Palliser's book "The Bb5 Sicilian" which provides 32 pages of analysis in a chapter entitled "3...e6: Creative and Dynamic"
Sicilian Rossolimo 3...e6 for Black
I was just looking at that this morning and I agree that's the best source of info I've found so far. It's only written slightly for White, whereas the other Rossolimo books covering it are heavily written for White.
I just wish there were something more, like a whole book written for Black about it. Well the Palliser book does reference a New In Chess survey by Rowson, so I guess I'll track that down too.
I have seen some excellent opening books/videos for Black about using 3...g6 against the Rossolimo, most notably the chaper in GM Rogozenko's Anti-Sicilians: A Guide For Black.
However, I've not seen much instructional material about using 3...e6 against the Rossolimo, which is what I want to play as it makes a lot more sense to me. I like how it forces White to make a decision whether to double the c-pawns, and also in the 3...e6 line Black recaptures with the b-pawn which is what I'd prefer to do, whereas in the 3...g6 line Black is supposed to capture away from the center with the d-pawn. I also noticed that 3...e6 was scoring better statisically.
Does anyone know some good books/videos about using 3...e6? So far I've only found the chess.com video by GM Ben FInegold, and that was primarily about the specific game and didn't really go into the opening in depth. Perhaps there's coverage given in one of the Sveshnikov books?
