From the final position there I wouldn't be hoping for a draw... I'd be playing for the win.

This opening always confuses me. 1. d4 d5 2. e3 c6? I was told c6 isn't a good response for black... But c6 is all I know at this point. I played against a 1600uscf and he creamed me With that opening.
He explained to me the idea was one of fischer's playing your opponents openings reversed or something? If you're a slav'oholic or know alot about 1.d4 2.e3 could you please help me? Here's how the game against the 1600 went..
