I am looking for good responses to the Sicilian, and I read somewhere that this was good.  What is your opinion on it?

Thanks

Atos

It's good. Later you might want to learn the standard Sicilian but that will be later.

Well, I can say from experience on the black side that the opening can put a lot of pressure on black, and he might end up giving the pawn back from all the pressure

I don't regret at all playing it, it's good practice for being on the attacking side and keeping the initiative.

same here, played it and no regrets. its great for learning natural piece placement, sacs, and the initiative

I played it for a while as well, it's a great way to learn how to attack, great way to meet the Sicilian.

It's a great opening and you should try it out. As a sicillian player, I find it's very hard to play against.

Just decline the gambit with 3... Nf6 and watch your opponent start squirming.

Unless  he knows how to play in the alapin sicilian he will be in trouble and if he does know how to play it black is still ok. 3.... d5 is also ok for black.
