Actually allowing the nimzo Indian is Fine You can study the Kasparov variation of the Nimzo Indian also know as 3 knights variation (Nf3) And against the Queens Indian you can play the Petrosian variation (A3) and Nc3 afterwarss gaining a big central duo

I can't make up my mind. For the longest time I have tended to avoid facing the Nimzo-Indian and the Queen's Indian also, and played 3.g3 (Catalan), but the mainline 5...0-0, 6...dxc4 is giving me trouble. Probably I suck it up and play 3.Nc3, my gut tells me it's probably best.
