During the recent World Computer Chess Championship, Team Rybka, using a cluster of 8-quad core processors (=32 cores total) with 64 gig RAM set on 'Infinite Analysis", generated new lines for black which (never before witnessed) are now being referred to as the Heisenberg Bongcloud based on the Heisenberg Uncertainty Principle.... but that's looking at this from black's perspective. So for a short while the Bongcloud is still superior but as usual a potent response for black is on the horizon.
If i ever play a complete noob, this will be my opening!

I feel like you'd get owned so hard using this against a good player.
But honestly when I saw bongcloud, i wasn't thinking... you know, never mind.
If you made it a full bongcloud and got into the middle of the board with your king it would be a 5 move mate.

on move 12, your oponnent could have checkmated you with Qc3. what a dumb opening. no offense.
SteveCrockett, your opponent missed 2...d5!. With your king exposed in the center, blowing open the position made perfect sense. And of course now White's usual plan of 3.exd5 Qxd5! 4.Nc3?? loses immediately to 5.Qe5+ 0-1.

If you were a good player then you would see the mate earlier than move 12! Check again ;)

i believe 12 Bc1 is also mate
dueds you are doing it all wrong! You need to have a solid Bongcloud. Play the Bongcloud Fortress!

I have played many Bongclouds! I challenge anyone to a game in the Bongcloud!

guys honestly if you can trap your opponents king infront of his own pawns then he is a sitting duck watch
Maybe if you were playing a real Bongcloud game and not some standard chess game with a whiff of a Bongcloud you might see the error of your ways.

No, keep typing. It is posts like this that add considerable entertainment value to this opening.
I only use the Bongcloud against higher rated players. The opening lines of the Bongcloud are often ignored and considered 'a joke'.... which is why it is an excellent opening strategy.
