There is an axiom that you should never play an opening named after an animal. Though I am pretty sure you could confuse an average opponent by using the Crab. (including me)

The Dragon (as in Komodo dragon), Spanish fly, Modern Hippo, The Whale. I am sure there is more

Well done, I guess, do you really use that opening much? I have seen GMs use it but not against other GMs.

Just was watching Eric Rosen and happened to click on the crab opening video. Needless to say, I freaked out a little seeing my own dumb username from 7 years ago. It's a small world huh? Glad to see I assisted in popularizing this truly fantastic opening, albeit if not very much. The Crab will live on.
