Earlier comments indicated that 1. e4 f5 was The Fred and this opening had a different name, so I was just clarifying.
I checked the game database on this site, and (surprisingly) found 4 instances of this opening, 2 wins for white, and two losses. I can't believe it's been played at all by any master... it's so weird, and doesn't really get as much space or development with the first two moves as other moves get.
