Because it blunders a pawn for no compensation (3...Bf5), and Black can even return the pawn immediately to gain a large positional advantage (3...e5).

It is that simple.

False. The ICBM is a stupid trick tailor made for the Scandinavian, and (no surprises here) it works only in blitz against noobs.

I tried a bunch of chess bots and all of them played Qd5 when you move the knight closer

This works until 1500 bullet. After that, you have to learn an actual opening

Try to lure the knight away with b4, if they take, you'll go for the attack. They will then fork you, and be up two material, but the knight is now easily trapped and captured, in addition, you have a queen and a strong attack.

What is this? Doesn't 7...Nxd3+ win a piece on the spot?
