when white is up a rook and the engine says +0.3 thats HUGE initiative and unclear. Its very hard for white to play.

I think in the d5 gambit line black sacs the two rooks for whites queen and a couple pawns? But also has initiative, since a white rook is stuck on h1.

sorry @SpicyMcMuffin but both 12.Kb1...a6 and ...Re8 are not so great for Black. Kb1...Nc4 at least gives Black good practical chances but objectively the best way to play the Dragon is 11...Nxd4 Bxd4 b5

I can give lines showing how a6 and Re8 are not so great

ne5 has always been the main line

Always? Most modern Dragon manuals (Nielsen, Svidler, Jones, you name it...) dismiss it as junk (12.Kb1!) and suggest playing something else. You are probably right to assume that 12.Kb1 is uncleaar, although the only unclear thing about it is if white is winning by force, or not.

winning by force? My coach shows me every single line in deep analysis. There are even some lines where white is up a rook and the position is unclear. He spent many years with his analysis.

Oh, I know this already.

Every poor troll I have met in this forum has invented a mighty coach to backup his ridiculous claims.

@pfren Yes most modern Dragon manuals give 11...Nxd4 because it is the sound move. 11...Ne5 is not terrible but a bit unsound. GM Gawain Jones wrote a chapter on it after 12.Kb1 (if u want to play 11...Ne5) and recommends 12...Nc4. He admits that it might not all be sound but gives many lines showing how Black can get decent practical chances.

@FizzyBand, any progress on the equalizing vs the @PushyDiscovery line?
