The reversed Albin Counter Gambit
Interesting but the outcome is not clear, black played 6...Bg4, 6...e6 and 6...g6 in other games with various results.
Reminded me a bit about this gambit :
Yes Conzipe, this is a sharp and rather complex/unclear lane from the Baltic defence (and a true Albin counter gambit position!). White’s 3.Qb3!? should be the critical test of all Black’s defence and 3…e5! is the only but seemingly sufficient reply by Black.
Cyrus Lakdawala discusses this in "Play the London System." After 1. d4 d5 2. Bf4 c5 he says "in response we can hit back with the Morris Gambit otherwise known as the Reversed Albin Counter-Gambit with the starting point 3. e4!? (Games 12-14) which takes the game into bizarre, non-London positions. This gambit has bite to it. An extra move turns the normally shaky Albin Conter-Gambit into a real weapon."
