after learning about this opening with a lesson made by MAGNUS CARLSEN I played this game. I think fianchettoing (tell me if I spelt that wrong) the bishop on g2 wasn't really a main line, but here's the game.

Nice game... well played!
Fianchetto"ing is more in line with the Leningrad Bird. If you prefer that, check out the games of GM H Danielsen, he played the Leningrad Bird and was very successful with it.
Also if.... you prefer to open the game with 1.d4 and 2. f4 there are pros and cons, however it's a "I viable option " Check out the games of of Breyer, Showalter, Mason etc.... Masters that played 1.d4 and 2.f4 playing the Stonewall Attack when it was trending Pre- WWI era.
Get a good grasp of the popular Anti-lines, these typically lead to equality. You will be playing these as much as you will the Leningrad Bird or the Stonewall attack. That said..... in this era of engine induced theory, where "pure pressure" pushes the notion of playing anything other than what the very Top GM's play is stupid and moronic, know that the greater % your opponent will not know the the minutia of these lines.
Heck, most will not have look at the positions past the point where "whatever" they where looking at said EQUAL.
Here is a Blitz game Where I played a Stonewall Attack and Black Fianchetto'ed his DSB
