Hi. Is the Vienna Gambit playable? If so, what are some of the suggested lines/ideas for both white and black?
1. e4 e5
2.Nc3 Nf6
3. f4
The few times I tried it in blitz, I just played 3. Nf3, but that seemed woefully unambitious.
