Once , my opponent played the Alekhine's Defense : Mokele Mbembe  . he lost his knight afterwards and he resigned .

first of all this isn’t even alekhine, the Knight is supposed to go to d5 on move 2 and not on e4. Check the opening first before u make a dumb accusation

My expierince is, that, opening, Alekhin variant Mokele-Mbembe is far the best opening. Actually, every opening is good, if being played precise. There is absolutely no way to loose Knignt (even for two pawns) in this type of opening.

At least, two good things for this opening, when played vs. opponnents' your level:

1. they loose significant amount of time, trying to solve, how to catch knight

2. they end up in unfamiliar position, loosing more time

Of course, when I play Alekh.M.M. opening, I do loose games, but, not for opening, but for further mistakes, not due by such opening.

By the metaphysical laws of coolness, if an opening is named mokele mbembe you are ontologically bound to play it.

so far, I've won all 4 of my recent krejciks without studying anything past grabbing the knight
