its just a nimzo larsen attack, Miles liked his unorthodox openings, as did larsen and so did nimzowitsch , reti and the other hypermodernists. This type of wing attack on the kingside is not that unusual for the opening.

Thoughts on this opening/game of GM Anthony (Tony) Miles. I have seen Nakamura use this opening alot in blitz but like to get more feed back.
