Traxler: Don't even think of playing Ke2!!!

Well, the badness of 6. Ke2 was known to Traxler himself.
What's the current status of 6. Kf1 and 6. Kxf2 ?!?

As I witnessed myself, even engines at high depth make mistakes while analyzing the main lines of Traxler.

I have a thread called "Traxler QE7 lines win". That analyzes those variations. Most win, but there's one that's drawish.

Just a question :
Why traxler gambit aficionados (like all gambits, mainly BDG fans) always show Nxf7 and not Bxf7 variations?
U just want white to enter into what u want but u don't play alone...
Traxler gambit is interesting but all good players know that the problems are 5.Bxf7 or even 5.d4.

If a more experienced player tells you something, it is usually right to listen. if 5.d4 and Bxf7+ are not a problem, why don't all super GM's play the Traxler in the rare occasion 4.ng5 occurs? If the Traxler is so good, then why doesn't everyone play it. it is not even close to the most popular response on move 4, but you seems to make it sound as if it is the best opening in the world. Soon enough the Traxler will be busted. My take on it- probably wrong, but...

You know, the usual way... Ludovic became IM by winning a few tournaments, achieving 3 norms and a rating over 2400. A few lucky shots, that is.
I'm afraid that if you insist suggesting nonsense witout thinking you will stay an International Grandpatzer for ever- e.g. your 5.d4 Bxd4? misses the whole point of the previous move: white can now play 6.Nxf7 winning material, as 6...Bxf2+ does not work anymore (the c1 bishop is open for business).

KF1 is the best option. The others all lose 100% of the time
It is known since ages that 6.Kxf2 is more or less a forced draw.

6. Kf1!! not Ke2??
Both Stockfish (minimax engine ) and Leela (Artificial Intelligence engine) agreed!!

6.Kf1 is best, but does not repair white's error on the fifth move.
This is exhaustively analysed to an equal position- the following line is quite convincing:
10...Qc5 is also playable, but rather risky.

Quite intriguing what you have stumbled upon here. Well, I sure had fun logging that into my brain. Haha!

Black is winning that position, white has much more material, but black has an extremely active attacking position and there are so many tactics white can fall for unless he pays perfectly.
