Basically, you've got 2 choices against the French if you want any decent win rate. 3.Nc3 or 3.e5. 3.Nd2, 3.exd5, and 2.d3 (King's Indian Attack) are dead equal, and everything else is worse for White, including the wing gambit!

That's I guess why I score 53% here with Black against the wing Gambit and 60% amongst games where I played 4...d4, because any line works for White in Blitz! PA-LEEZ!

Just okay the Advance. Not the Milner-Barry, although that’s playable it isn’t the best way to play, just play normally.

Nope. I have a line against it that does better than usual but yeah White’s still slightly better with perfect play in any variation of the Advance French.

You can also play the blackmar-diemer against the French
Though it's not very good because of Bb4

Nothing here is correct. Firstly, Black out scores White in the Milner-Barry, and engines give Black the advantage as well. Secondly, the Tarrasch is an inaccurate move with long-term consequences and it allows Black equality at worst and an advantage at best, it’s also very drawish. Third, the Advance is better WITHOUT Milner-Barry. Just play a quiet a3 and you’ll do fine.

Yeah. Both are popular at low level and not at high level because it’s very very simple to just memorize the refutation and be much better against.
What to play against french defence? I was playing the wing gambit but it doesn't give me a win rate higher than 45%... Against other defences I play the alapin sicilian, fantasy caro kann and blackmar-diemer scandi.
