Uncommon random named opening test.

I'm gonna put some strange named opening positions that you've probably never seen before. I got most of these from messing around in explorer. Can any of you get these? (Don't cheat...) Also I might have got the move order slightly wrong in some of these, but it is the ending position that is the opening.

There are probably some more I know, but the list is getting long. All of these openings are named. How many do you know?

Avatar of JackRoach

I found all of these in the explorer, I know a lot of openings.

I added numbers to make it easier.

Ah, nevermind. The numbers aren't working.

Ok, I'll make this a test. Here is extra credit:

7. The Whale.

Figured someone would get that one...

You got 8%. Better than all of the people who haven't tried yet!

So far around 16% has been achieved.

That isn't even an opening.

I know it's an "opening" a club played in a vote chess match, it's strange but useful.

Avatar of JackRoach

Hmm... ok. I don't think you read my posts on the forum, it's not an opening you come up with that I judge, you have to (without using explorer) see if you know what the opening names are.

"Grob opening Double grob Coca-Cola gambit"

Which goes like this

Hmm I think I saw #1 before

It's called the "Beginner's Trap" I think

#5 and #6 is snagglepuss and picklepuss

I forgot which one is what, but all I know is that the move-order is called the two names
