In my opinion, the hardest badge to obtain on Chess.com is the Grandmaster (GM) badge.

Unlike activity-based or participation badges, this one cannot be earned by playing more games or spending more time on the site. It requires being an official FIDE Grandmaster, which means many years of professional competition, achieving GM norms, and maintaining an elite rating level. Only a very small number of players in the world ever reach that level.

For that reason, it stands out as the most difficult badge to earn.
