Uncommon Response to the Sicilian Defense

Just finished an interesting game. Granted I could of played it better and missed a free queen on move 8, and missed mate on 18.

If anyone can link the game here I would appreciate it. I do not know how to link games to forums. The game was against a Pakistani player, just under 1600.

Anyway. The game started with a standard Sicilian:

1. e4 c5
2. Nf3 d6
3. d4 cxd4
4. c3! dxc3 (at this point he asked me what I was doing)
5. Bc4!

The idea I was going with here was to turn the Sicilian defense into a game similar to the scotch Gambit. He followed with 5. cxb2 6. Bxb2 which put me in my opinion an attacking position. I can't remember exactly, but I believe this game check mate was coming before move 25.

If you are looking for something different maybe give this a chance. It's a little risky bc you go down a few pawns in the beginning but the chances for attack are very good if the position goes as plan.

If you see any flaws with this please give me some tips bc I might play it more often since it was such a fun game.
