Unorthodox Opening - 1.a4

The move 1.a4 is known as Ware's Opening or the Meadow Hay or the Crab Opening.  It's another offbeat opening that violates controlling the center right away.  Again, it's good for those who want to get out of book fast and who play blitz chess.  Here is one example of my Internet blitz games.  1.a4 d5 2.Nc3 Bd7 3.Nxd5 Bxa4 4.Nxc7+ Qxc7 5.Rxa4 Qd7 6.c3 h6 7.Nf3 e6 8.Ne5 Qe7 9.Rc4 Nd7 10.Rc7 Ngf6 11.Rxb7and White won, Wall-Ultramaster, Internet 2000.  Some folks answer and unusual move with another unusual move.  Here is one example.  1.a4 a5 2.b3 b6 3.Bb2 c5 4.e3 d6 5.Nf3 f6 6.Nh4 e5 7.Qh5+ Ke7 8.Ng6 and White won the rook, Wall-Putty, Internet 2001.  Or just is strange is this example.  1.a4 h5 2.e4 h4 3.Bc4 d6 4.Qf3 Nf6 5.d4 Bg4 6.Qb3 b6 7.Bxf7+ Kd7 8.h3 Bh5 9.Qe6+ Kc6 10.Bxh5 Rxh5 11.e5 Ne4 12.Qg6 and I win a piece  Wall-Andris, Internet 2005.  Of course you want to avoid this opening catastrophe.  1.a4 e5 2.Na3 Bc5 3.d3 Qh4 4.Be3?? Bxe3 and Black won, Goofy-Wall, Internet 1998.  And don't get you knight trapped with these moves.  1.a4 e5 2.Nf3 e4 3.Ne5 d6 4.Nc4 d5 5.Ne5 Bd6, winning the knight  Derf-Wall, Internet 1999.

A guy dropped a piece after 3 moves?  Were you both drunk?  :)

Это плохой дебют, так никто на играет,потому, что а4 тратит темп, не развивает фигуры и в этом ходе нету смысла.
