Urgenent Need Of Opening preperation HELP!

Ok so i am playing in a major junior competition in canberra. i am doing some prep against my oppent and realise that he plays the BUDAPEST! against the Queens gambit. luckily my friend suggest after 1.D4 Nf6 i reply NF3 and he cannot play the budapest. I am not so sure. Are there any exciting lines for white against the budapest-No Gambit ones please unless really Excelent. i can play quite comftably against the budapest but i hate doing it!! please Help. games would be great and links to usefull sites as well as your own opininions!

I play that mate!! It sorta worked against Willis. An` Jak mate, use fritz or something to analyze.

2. Nf3 sidesteps three B's, Budapest, Benko, and Benoni. You might as well try to prepare a Torre attack as opening repertoire for white or the London system. If you are not comfortable with the torte attack, then, go for the Trompovsky or the pseudo trompovsky with 2. Bg5!! Watch hodgson videos on the tromp. It is a great learning material I hope I have contributed something

I've been playing the Budpest for years, and for years I've been surprised how seldom White plays the toughest continuation for Black:

 Yes, if you KNOW your opponent will play the Budapest then this continuation rocks for white.  You just have to be a little careful with tactics on the kingside.
