Various Explorer's test games

If U don't know how to start, U can use these test games (Explorer vs Explorer). I'm starting with the 1 best line at d=20 (when it completes calculations and switches to d=21) and 5 moves. The evaluation of starting and final positions is done with 0 lines and 1 min limit.

The first test game has brought the first surprise. In reply to KP, the Explorer has chosen the French defense and reduced the initial white's advantage to the strict zero in the French Exchange variation. Btw it's one of reasons why 1. e4 is statistically suboptimal. However, normally, the Explorer should choose a different first move, probably 1. d4, even at depth d=20. Is it also influenced by chess traditions ?!?
