I've been looking into this as a choice versus 1.d4/2.Nf3 (1.d4 d6 2. Nf3 Bg4 = Wade Defense in typical move order) and find the most challenging variations to begin with 3. c4. Is there any Wade Defense players on here that would share their experiences using the defense? Versus 1.d4 d6 2. c4 I play e5!, which is a "d6 universal" line that is often presented alongside the Wade Defense; however, I've never used the latter.
