There's a topic? Undecided

Is that the longest move sequence based on a Fingerfehler?

It's a chess term. Ask a chessplayer.

Or crank up the google and use your detective skills.

1.e3??? e5 2. e4?

Is a horrible opening. Moves the same pawn twice. Lets black gain the advantage (white had the advantage of the first move. Valued at being half a pawn up). It makes the center game (known as one of the worst openings) look good!

Black fell for the trap? What the trap of winning?

Actually, horrible opening. Gets rooks out way to early. Instead of going where they belong they waste time being harrased, gives up the center.

Very real and good opening. Rooks out early and they become powerful.

Are the people driving this thread forwards children?

Basic chess ideas.

1. Control the center.

2. Do not waste moves!!! Moving a rook pawn up to develop a rook is a huge waste. Simple (after castling) put your rook on an open file.

3. Develop the major (rook queen) pieces last.

This "opening" violates so many chess principles that it looks like the moves were chosin at random.

I'm not convinced its that easy to catch a wererabbit with a ware trap.

I suppose it is possible that the openings suggested were a troll's ploy.Say something ridiculous (the openings presented) to anger people. But I think it was just lack of chess knowledge.

Avatar of fischerman_bob

But its not even a trap. Unless, one calls it a trap to cause your opponent to win.

White has the advantage. The "trap" gives that advantage (to be up a move.value estimated as half a pawn) to black.
