Weird Gambit Opening
Right, that's why it's called a "gambit." I was prepared to be a piece down for the game in exchange for pulling his king out and destructing any opening he planned on -- including a castle.
I didn't plan on the quick-mate; that only happened because of his mistakes. I think, though, that if the game continued with me one piece down, I would have been able to construct a better game.
Just a hypothesis. Clearly at 1338 I don't know much about chess which is why this topic is here.

So this is the first time I've ever tried this. I've been meaning to for a while now and I figured this would be a good chance. Black had already beaten me as white the game before. I figured I had nothing to lose.
Well, with this gambit, I won in 8 moves. Unfortunately, I can't analyze it as it's under the number of moves required to have a game analyzed. Take a look and tell me what you think.
