By the way, what do you guys think of the Dragadorf? I'm currently looking into this, as well as the dragon. I'm not sure which is better

It's not going to win you the world championship, but it's at least as good as the Colle.

Dragon is better.

In what kind of ways are the positions different in the Dragadorf compared to the Dragon? (in the sense of which opening gets more active pieces, stronger attacks etc). Also, Bokomuru, I'm simply looking for a sharp opening that can give me some good wins at club-level; I don't mind if I can't beat the Wch with it (I couldn't win with any opening ;)

Dragon gets very sharp attacks. I don't really believe in the dragadorf, although it certainly is playable (and I play both dragon and najdorf too Laughing).

And I have no idea how that thing ended up called the "Dragadorf."  That "a" in the middle comes from absolutely nowhere, breaking every known and accepted neologistic rule.  Anarchy.  Dragodorf would have been so much better.

When it starts as a dragon and then a6 is played it is called a dragadorf.

But when g6 is played in a najdorf, I prefer to call it a najgon.

It's incredibly hard to main at the club level in this day and age due to how common it is. I wouldn't recommend it in the Open.
