I have recently been learning some new openings to play against the sicilian and came across the levenfish variation for white against the sicilian dragon. It seems to me that lower rated players such as myself have no idea how to play against it. I have used it a few times now and have had great success with it. I was wondering how it fares against higher rated players and if it can be used against other variations of the sicilian, especially the najdorf as that is the one I see most frequently at my level. Here is the latest game I played using the levenfish with the computer analysis. I nkow my opponent blundered his queen but I think I was doing quite well out of the opening as my opponent could not deal with the levenfish variation. Also how should black alter his plan to counter the opening and equalise?
