What is better; Parham or Queenside Fried Liver

He left a note saying that I should shut up because I'm only sixteen and then blocked me. He's only 20, that's not much difference. Also, his 2000 rating is provisional and based on just 8 games, so it's not that accurate.

I've seen him post some pretty vulgur stuff in other's notes. I wonder if I should report it, because I don't like Vlad and that stuff doesn't belong on chess.com.

Hm... The queens fried liver involves the sacrifice of two pieces. surely this would be better:

In fact Doing this could alos help kill a rook too

The best opening yet: The fakeout.

pfren

Oh, OK. Next time I'll ask your kind permission before speaking, sir.

Alexlaw, stop saying how people are better than others, i am a much better player than you an I am better than everyone here than IM pfren, but can we please get back on topic of the openings and which is better. IM pfren, i cant get over how cool you are, you're latest comment was probably the best yet.

whatupyodog

Okay, ill play you but ill only play the parham against you, and idk how to challenge you to a blitz game so you challenge me.

whatupyodog

i know its bad unless its bullet it was a joke.

The_Gavinator

whatupyodog, I'd just go with the Parham. I have a similar thread, all I hear is ruy lopez, one of the most passive chess games. Just go with the Parham, and roll with it. It scares off people rated 200 points higher than you, so just go for it.

whatupyodog

Yes, you just proved it, all black can do in the parham is fight for equality. Black has no way of gaining an advantage in it, at best its position will be even and most likely, a liitle worse.

That is the point,White hands Black equality on move 2. Compared to other openings, Black is sometimes struggling for equality.

whatupyodog

How in the name of F'ing hell do you think black gains equality on move 2.

The_Gavinator

Want to name an opening where black struggles for equality?

Did you ever ask a good chess player if it was good? Fritz's evaluation drops to slightly better for Black after Qh5.

CHCL

Any opening for black is struggling for equality because white has tempo to spend on a quick attack if he wants to. The Parham gives Black tempo on a silver platter.

The_Gavinator

So what you're trying to say is you can't name one...

whatupyodog

If anything black loses a tempo(which dont matter anyway) because of wasting moves to defend pieces or mate.

CHCL

He is not wasting moves, he is developing at the same time.

whatupyodog

No, you had it right before, black is fighting for equality and at worst white stays even.
