1.e4 e5 2.Qh5 Nc6 3.Bc4 g6 4.Qf3 Nf6 5.Ne2 d6 6.Nc3 0-0 7.d3 Na5 is given by some authorities (e.g. Sakaev in a very brief note in his latest book) as slightly better for Black.
However, it seems that the ...Na5 plan could be played even earlier (5...Na5!) when after eliminating the bishop Black may play ...d5 at once, and playing like that Black also avoids little annoyances as an early Bg5 or Bd5.
Not sure if Black has a real advantage, but certainly only a fool would enjoy playing white here.
And this ...Na5 idea, at fifth or sixth move (after 5...Bg7), is even more powerful if white goes for 5.c3?! instead of 5.Ne2.
qf3 and then black is forced to do nf6 leaving that night open to be pinned.
