Best and favourite are not the same. Many people favour subpar openings for fun or to evade theory.
There are several best openings. 1 e4 or 1 d4 are equally good.
1 e4 e5, 1 e4 c5, 1 d4 d5, 1 d4 Nf6 are equally good.

The best opening even after hundreds of years is probably still 1. e4 e5.
However, anyone playing 1. e4 has to be prepared that your opponent will play a variety of other openings in reply, as of his own prefered choice. Like I do play the French against 1. e4, while others have other ideas.

My favourite opening to play against a lower rated opponent is bongcloud and against a higher rated opponent I play Vienna with white and sicillian with black.

It is laughable that everyone talks about playing the Bongcloud, but yet I never see 1.e4 e6 2.Ke2 in any game that I ever play Black on here!

I like the London system (I'm a beginner) it just makes my king feel secure in a fortress.
I use Nf3 when I am white and c5 when I am black

Nakamura might play the Bongcloud against you on your terms.
in my Opinion I think it the King's indian and the Queen's gambit .
