What is this Opening?

When I choose my openings, I don't pay as much attention as I should to my opening and my opponents opening, despite the fact that I know the importance of the openings leading to mid and end game.

This opening I am actually using in a current game (I am black), and was just curious of what its name.  I was looking at it for a second and thought it was a rather strong type of opening, but I am curious on what others here think.  Is it as strong an opening as I think it is *note: its white turn to play...*

I see... but am I wrong in thinking this is a strong opening?

i wouldnt say its an optimal oppening. i think you have moved pawns too many times to really consider it a propperly developed opening. if you look at white he already has to major pieces involved in the opening,(and has castled already) whereas you only have one. some good rules of thumb are "knights before bishops" "dont move the same piece twice" and "create lines that gain you teritory when you move a pawn"... with that said... good luck in our game!!!
