Mine (Also an example) You don't need to add least favorite white

Favorite white: Queen's gambit accepted center variation, possibly Alekhine's defense Scandinavian variation, 3rd might be Nimzo larsen

Favorite black: Slav Defense or Italian

Least favorite black: Reti opening

Screw Colors!  I simply have a Favorite and a most Hated.  Doesn't matter if I'm Black or White.  Give me 100 games, 50 with each color in my favorite, and doesn't matter which color I am, you will not see my least favorite on my board under any circumstances!  You will not see me play said opening pretty much ever again!

I don't like d4 games either, so I respond to 1.d4 with 1... Nf6 to start the Indian Game.

Thanks for the response. I did explore the KID but it was very heavy in theory, took a lot of patience and timely or critical pushes; that was new to me and chose not to learn.

I use to play the Englund Gambit as a band-aid solution because I was enjoying the tactical opportunities and no theory. Plus games are not decided by opening theory anyways, on my level at least despite the criticism.

Worked with a coach on the Modern Defense-Pterodactyl line that transposes to the Sicilian Dragon. The only concession is it’s a closed game to start (in most cases), but I am familiar and comfortable with the positions from playing the Sicilian so much.

Also experimented with the Beef Eater as a side line  but I didn’t like giving away the dragon bishop away so early in the game even though it is funny to see white with a double or even tripled pawn structure.
