Freak Attack (6.Rg1 in the Najdorf).
what is your favorite opening name?

mine is the sodium attack because the periodic table abbreviation for sodium is Na and the notation for the sodium attack in chess is 1. Na3
Ruy Lopez

isnt there some opening that has a really stupid name after 1. d4 e5 something something something
Depends. If after 2.dxe5, Black plays 2...Nc6, it is the Englund Gambit. If he follows with 2...d6 3.exd6 Bxd6, it is the Blackburne-Hartlub Gambit

The best opening name is the Toilet Variation - a line of the Grand Prix Attack. It got it's name from Tartakower thinking it up while he was sitting on the commode.
It is 1.e4 c5 2.f4 (Back then, they did not play 2.Nc3 first in the Grand Prix - 2.Nc3 back then automatically signified that White was about to play the Closed Sicilian) 2...d5! 3.Nc3 (instead of accepting the Tal Gambit with 3.exd5). This is known as the Toilet Variation, or simply, The Toilet.

Frankenstein-Dracula Variation? (Vienna Game)

I play that religiously as black.

Favorite name comes from the Sicilian Dragon, as that sounds pretty interesting in the past and to this day and even someone said it sounds like for "nerds" in which was also interesting to me. Of course it was the name that intruiged me, the opening is good to if played correctly!
Favorite opening as a whole is Reti Gambit, plain and simple!
