What to play in Italian as white

I am 600-700 chess elo in rapid. I don't know what to play. Against 2 knights defense should i do fried liver or d3. Against bc5 should i learn evans gambit or just play giuoco piano

I am pretty much set that I want to learn italian

Against two knights, fried liver and d3 are both fine. Fried liver might get you some easy wins for your level but I honestly think d3 is a slightly better option because it’s more principled. I would say d3 but fried liver is good too.

Against Bc5, the Evans Gambit might be a bit harder to conceptualise and stuff but it’s still an awesome opening. I would say Guccio piano, slow Italian or some other gambit but the evans is one of my favourite openings and is also completely good 👍 🔥

In general just play what you want ig. Maybe alternate between 2. If you ask me I would play d3 against two knights and Guccio piano or Guccio pianissimo vs Guccio piano. But maybe that’s just me.
