I like the Classical because Black is going to transpose to a Dragon in the blink of an eye if White messes up or is going to be better in case of the natural 6 Be3 with 6... Ng4! But I am studying the Najdorf right now as a surprise weapon against opponents that know me
Which sicilian defense do you play and why?

Kan - confusing for opponent's pieces - he can't attack easily like he wants to - pawns are in the way, easy and trivial development for you, many tricks you can do with your queen. king is safe with or without 0-0.

The Najdorf, because it avoids the positional weakness of the Dragon, Shveshnikov or Kalashnikov while still being extremely double-edged.
the Bishop is nothing other than a tall pawn in the Hyper A Dragon against the best move 3. c3! Playing an Alapin where the Bishop on g7 is bad

I love playing the hyperaccelerated dragon. I've found this variation to be very sharp and I feel like I come out of the opening equal or even better as black, even when playing 1900+ rated opponents.

The Najdorf, but mostly because I had a book on it as a kid, so it happens to be the one I'm most familiar with

Do you have a favorite? Why do you prefer it over the other variations?
Nimzowitsch sicilian because it's funky and has minimal theory as well as being completely sound

I agree, I find it hard to attack the Kan and my pieces feel a bit stupid
Yep. Is there an easy to play setup against the Kan?
