I never see that in the Italian game, but in the Spanish 3. Bb5 , 3.... Nxe4 is met with 4.Re1

d5, with a comfortable position for Black. I don't see any GMs play 4.O-O, though.

I like to do this.
Again, 5...d5 (increasing center control while threatening the bishop) seems best after 5. Re1.
Why doesn't Black Nxe4?
