Carlsen clearly outplays Anand in positional game. Don't forget Carlsen can use his ultimate weapon when he defends. I mean the 3 fold repetition.

You are clearly confused. Anand is the only one who has used the threefold repetition to abort a game (in less than 25 moves in both cases, once even after he gave up an advantageous position in order to trade off queens and then force the repetition).
