Why was this even posted in the opening forums?
It's like if there was a thread about Scrumptious bricks Fighting with sampson, Samuelajedrez, Sea turtle, ethan Brollier and d4iscrazy, and that thread was only talking about the fight and not about anything of the openings

Turned out scrumptious bricks was a sampson's alt

And all that fight was a social experiment. One of the best and most legendary threads in the opening forums

I also read that thread

All of that started because @Yerachmeal said the sicilian was refuted by the wing gambit and started an argument about it with samuel and others

Then scrumptious joined and said he agreed with yerachmeal and said engines were wrong and the nakhmanson was winning for white and other stuff

I actually commented on that thread by recalling that 1. e4 b5 is the o'neill gambit

Some good memories

Unfortunately some things changed since then

Sampson stopped playing chess
Samuel abandoned 
Frogboy closed his account

And @d4iscrazy got banned, i believe after the thread with unicornhead

Im not active on openings but this lore seems interesting

I wonder if someone will realize we bumped this thread since there's an IM in this thread (Poucin)
