Proper tournament behavior

I've recently gone to an OTB, USCF rated chess tournament in the US, and will be going to another one soon. What's the expected behaviour at a chess tournament? Is it appropriate to ask an opponent to analyze with you after they beat you (or if you beat them)? Is it appropriate to watch skittles matches? What about going up to some one in the skittles area and asking for a quick game? What am I supposed to do between rounds (What do you guys normally do?) Is there some sort of ceremony at the end that I have to attend? And is there anything else I should know?

I'm sorry if this is in the wrong place, I couldn't figure out what to do with it. I'm also sorry if the answers seem painfully obvious, but there's no one who can show/tell me what proper behaviour is. Thanks.
