So what was Fischer's comment about Kasparov? I remember back in the 80's he said something like "the match with K is off until the Russians pay me royalties on the Russian publication of My 60 Memorable Games." But we can be pretty sure now that there were never even negotiations about a K-F match. Just talk, in my opinion. Anyone know of anything else?
A question about Fischer's comment on Kasparov.

Fischer claimed that all the matches between Kasparov and Karpov were fixed, along with a lot of other crazed nonsense. This was later in his life - the 90s I think - when he was well off the deep end and never swimming back.

Fischer was born too soon.
Nowadays, he would be nutjob enough to be elected US President and get unwavering support from half the population retweeting his baseless non-sense.

'A piece of garbage like Kasparov might be called a chess genius, but he is like an idiot savant, outside of chess he knows nothing.' Fischer on Kasparov.

Please don't politicize chess.com
It is not even about politics, it is light sarcasm about Fischer being a paranoid guy who lost touch with facts (some would say a stable genius ).
Just like most of the people nowadays who live in their social media fantasy and act accordingly. In advance on his time, I tell you.
>It's a bit silly to argue with someone from twelve years prior.<
Is this what you do? Cruise the forums looking for late posts, and then scolding the posters?
Hiss off.
