its not impossible just unrealistic, youre not going to be able to improve as fast as you did when you were 700/800/900.
Anyways you should probably work on your positional play and studying specific motifs. It is pretty hard to self teach so i would recommend getting a coach too.
try road to positional advantage by herman grooten its a pretty good book to start with.

I would hire a coach, however, I'm not in a financial situation in which that would be possible. Until I was 7-8 I had a coach in which I was around 800 ELO. If I was able to get from 800 ELO to 1700 ELO self-taught, do I need a coach from 1700 to 2000 ELO?

++ It takes about a year to reach 2000. Many fail even that.

++ Play, preferably 15|10 and use all your time. Whenever you lose, analyse thoroughly.

As the title suggests, my current rating is around 1700, and I want to reach 2000 by May of 2023. I was told that would be impossible by a lot of people, but I am quite a fast learner. If it is possible, whether it be hard or excruciating, what do I need to do to be able to reach 2000 ELO?
