I am 12, and I am around 1300 but most serious players my age are a bit higher, around 15-1600. However, there are plenty of 12 year old who are around 5-600, so I'd say the average is about 800 otb.

Well im 12 and im around 1600-1700 on chess.com but my guess for an average rating would be 1300. But it does depend if the 12 year old plays chess weekly, daily or just knows the rules.

I’m 15 and have a bad ranking, so it all depends on the individual and how hard they play and study and stuff.
I know somebody around 12 and he is like a 700 even though he just got into chess recently so i would guess 1100ish
