I think it's 400 given the fact that most 12 year olds are playing fortnite. Chess players, it's 1200 for sure.

My Elo is around 350 right now, but I am able to beat bots at about 1100 Elo, does that mean that I am above an average 350 Elo player? (My elo is low because I made another account and forgot about this one)

No, bots suck, and I can beat Duo and I am 1200.

Very useful information.
As a 12-year-old my rating on Chess Kids is 1300 and because I don't play frequently on Chess.com my rating is around 300. I'd say Chess.com is has better players then on Chess Kids so I'd probably be 1100-1200 maybe? Thats my guess.

average pre-teen who learned from his uncle? maybe 500,
average pre-teen in a school chess club who plays in locals and regionals? 900-1200 (i stopped being unrated when i won the unrated section of my scholastic state championship ages ago, my first rating was 1250).
average top pre-teens in the state? approaching 1800-2000 level.
Average pre-teen chess prodigy? low master level.

now im 12 and im like 1200 on chess kid cause i took a huge break in the middle

I am a 12-year-old who plays Chess every day. I have been playing chess since March 2023 and my rating is 400+ and counting. It's not high or low, I think 400 is the average rating for a 12-year-old.
wouldn't say it's that low, i am 13 and 900 and a while back a 12 year old once got gm
