It's interesting to see how many comments degrade into various versions of "Divide by zero" or infinity etc. It's nice and enjoy that these comments aren't entirely insane (though I guess if they were, I wouldn't even understand it/them? - *places that idea on a (hopefully available) "backburner" somewhere to mull over and contemplate later)

... As far as I know, the average "Tournament rated player" should average 1000. Every 400 points differences between players should represent a 3 to 1 ratio of winnings ... I admit that such is simply a rough stastistic, and if some is curious, Yes, it could be possible that some players are particularly more adept or weak against some other players.

... so let's just *quickly presses forward to the conclusion* Yes, congrats and high fives ... reaching 1200 as a rated (tournament) player IS an accompliment. In fact, it is great that you have helped verify that even 12 year olds are still playing and that some of them might be new world champions, though I admit having heard and generally felt that likely someone who might later became something close to a World Champion in Chess ... I must admit that a rating of 1200 at 12 years old would seem a wild / lucky "shot in the dark". In fact, to be honest, as an interesting idea (which I would SERIOUSLY NOT encourage you to persue) ... if you ever ended up being a World Champion (adds a ton of fine print ... "Within the next 2 decades" etc. etc.)

That would be rather amazing (from my perspective).

Honestly, I wish you the best. You are and will always remain awesome .... if you were to ask why, well it would simply be because you are similar or have elements of myself

You are fine, Sir Best wishes forever. Thank you. Great question and I have enjoyed the inspiration. Have fun! Feel free to do all the things a 12 year old boy might do. You are ok, not that you needed it to be affirmed.

There’s grandmasters which are thirteen (maybe some of them are twelve) but there is also some people know chess rules but lose everytime in that age. Also there is a lot people who does not play / learn chess so the average should be lower than you think
