should a beginner player play all willing to play players or not?

What do you mean?

Grunc5th

accept all challenges as long as you are prepared to lose as you are to win.

remember, you will learn more by losing to a better opponent than you would by beating a weaker player.

win lose learn is my philosophy

so i will see what they will devolepe of of me losing my repPoints.
Most experenced players seem to know this and do not normaly take on strangers with low repPoints

I think you should play stronger people, try as hard as you can, then analyze the game yourself, win or lose. Also play some people at your level, or below, and try to crush them. Analyze the wins and make sure you know where the opponent went wrong. I mean analyze the games yourself, not with a computer!

I think beginners should play with a computer first.

It's relatively shallow thinking and moves that are otherwise predictable by a better player would be the first step to conquer.

Then, they can move on to the more unpredictableness of real people.

I use this technique for teaching my brother (who's six now).

if you play the computer you wouldn`t reconize agressive play HH.Cool

You will learn more if you lose, thus you should play to win to avoid

learning which would prevent you from losing and learning in the future.

I hope that clears it up.

You should play any better player that is willing to play you, they will exploit your weaknesses so you will know what not to do.
